In 2009, the organizing committee increased exposure to local artists and artists by the introduction of a free venue, CFRG 93.1 Open Mic.
In 2008 there was the addition of Heritage Skits depicting Gravelbourg in the 1930's.
In 2007 free venues were established to increase accessibility and participation.
In 2006, the Solstice Festival provided the first three days of events for the Town of Gravelbourg Centennial's ten days of celebrations.
In 2004 and 2005, the festival incorporated the "Imagination Market" and "Magical Earth Secrets" presented by Cynthia Wells Production.
In 2003, a set of Bylaws were formally adopted by the festival board of directors. A semi-permanent outdoor musical stage with weatherproof covering was built and purchased.
In 2002, cross cultural programming elements were added to the festival with a multicultural food and music event and workshops hosted on Saturday for both children and adults.

In 2000, as a first year event, our primary goal was simply to see it successfully executed without any major problems – which was achieved. Extensive positive word of mouth set the stage for our second year.
